Our kitchen is built around discipline, consistency, teamwork, and scratch cooking at a high standard. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Chef de Partie who is ready to take the next step in their culinary career. This position is designed for cooks who want to grow into future kitchen leadership and eventually advance into a Sous Chef role within the company. This role requires someone who can not only execute at a high level on their station, but also learn all areas of the kitchen while developing leadership, organizational, and operational skills. Position Type Part Time Hourly Position Nights, weekends, and holidays required Position Overview The Chef de Partie is responsible for mastering multiple stations, maintaining high execution standards, assisting with leadership responsibilities during service, and developing the skills necessary to grow into a future Sous Chef position. This is a hands-on working position in a fast-paced fine dining environment. Responsibilities Execute dishes consistently according to chef standards and plating specifications Operate and maintain multiple stations throughout the kitchen Learn all areas of kitchen operations, including hot line, garde manger, prep, pastry support, and expo assistance Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station at all times Assist with daily prep production and mise en place organization Help oversee station readiness and support junior cooks during service Communicate clearly and professionally with chefs and team members Maintain urgency, professionalism, and composure during high-volume services Assist with inventory organization, product rotation, and waste control Learn ordering, prep management, kitchen systems, and leadership responsibilities over time Help uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and organizational standards throughout the kitchen Stay productive during slower periods by assisting with cleaning, organization, prep, or supporting other stations Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and work ethic Qualifications Previous experience in an upscale scratch kitchen or fine dining environment preferred Strong understanding of cooking fundamentals and kitchen organization Ability to work clean, fast, and detail-oriented under pressure Strong communication and teamwork skills Leadership mindset with willingness to learn and grow Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to accept feedback and continuously improve Passion for hospitality, craftsmanship, and high-level execution What We're Looking For We are looking for individuals who: Want to build a long-term career in serious hospitality Take pride in discipline, consistency, and execution Want to eventually move into a Sous Chef leadership role Take initiative without needing constant direction Stay focused and productive even during slower periods Want to help elevate the restaurant and team around them Thrive in high-standard, team-oriented environments Growth Opportunity This position is intended as a development role for future kitchen leadership.
