Barista and Chef Here at Beignets and Brew, we're all about creating a positive, youthful, fun vibe while our guests stop by for a quick pick-me-up or a place to sit back and relax while enjoying our delicious beignets, coffee, and beer or wine. We take pride in offering a warm, memorable experience from start to finish. Position Summary As a member of our krewe, you'll play an essential role in preparing and serving our delicious beignets, and brews while providing top-notch hospitality. We're looking for upbeat, reliable, and team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love connecting with people.

Essential Functions:

Arrive on time, in full uniform, and maintain excellent hygiene Bring a positive attitude and team spirit every shift Communicate effectively with guests and fellow krewe members Prep, stock, clean, and sanitize designated stations and equipment Assist team members with additional tasks to ensure smooth operations

Barista Job Duties:

Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, and other beverages following recipes and quality standards Maintain a full understanding of the menu, including dietary options and ingredient details Keep coffee machines clean, and in proper working condition Ensure orders are made efficiently and accurately

Chef Job Duties:

Heat, clean and monitor fryers to maintain proper oil temperature Cook beignets to perfection using timers and quality checks Cut and prepare beignet bites and warm sauces for serving Maintain accurate ticket times and ensure efficient order flow Clean kitchen stations, wash dishes, and follow all food safety standards

Required Experience:

Must be able to work in compliance with state and federal guidelines Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in a fast-paced setting

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and communicate with guests for extended periods Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds Comfortable working near fryers, coffee machines, and kitchen equipment

Schedule and Pay Job Type:

Full-Time or Part-Time Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 + tips

Shifts:

Day and Night shifts available Must be available to work weekends, late nights, and holidays
