In this pivotal role, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership will inspire our culinary staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences, whether in fine dining settings or catering events. Duties Support the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all culinary activities. Assist in menu planning, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and align with guest preferences. Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely and flawless execution. Monitor shift management, delegating tasks effectively to meet service demands during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to uphold safety standards. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food production, fine dining cuisine, and catering services. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory management, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse culinary team. Experience with menu planning, food handling, and restaurant or hospitality management. Familiarity with banquet experience and dietary department procedures is highly desirable. Hands-on cooking expertise combined with excellent communication skills to foster teamwork.
