The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a flair for creating exceptional dishes in a fine dining environment. As a Hibachi Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while ensuring food safety and maintaining an organized kitchen. This position requires creativity, leadership skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through efficient food handling practices. Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and proper equipment usage. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Monitor food service operations to ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. Handle customer inquiries and feedback regarding menu items or dietary restrictions. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen management practices. Familiarity with fine dining standards and the ability to create high-quality dishes. Excellent leadership skills with experience in shift management and team collaboration. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
