Description:
This position begins in July/August 2026! SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Sous Chef/Lead Cook to join our team at a beautiful private school. This role partners closely with our Executive Chef and Food Service Director to lead a dynamic kitchen that features multiple food concepts and a diverse, complex menu. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of allergen awareness and transparency in food preparation and menu communication. As Sous Chef, you'll be the Executive Chef's right hand, helping to guide and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring every dish is crafted with excellence, beautifully presented, and served with precision. Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing. Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members. Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP). What you'll need: Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English. Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
