This role offers the opportunity to coach, develop, and inspire your team while delivering exceptional guest experiences and strong operational performance. Sous Chef Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary $52,500-$57,000 , depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Shared tips Free meals while on shift Opportunities for growth and promotion within a dynamic, expanding brand Paid time off, benefits, and wellness perks Chef whites/uniform provided Ongoing training, development programs, and access to new menu launches A fun, collaborative culture that celebrates individuality, creativity, and team success Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications Experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with the ability to provide honest feedback with compassion and emotional intelligence Proven ability to uphold outstanding food quality, health standards, and kitchen safety protocols Strong understanding of kitchen financials: GP, labor management, inventory, and stock control A motivational leader committed to team success Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills Passionate about building an inclusive environment where individuality is celebrated, and everyone feels like they belong A forward-thinking problem solver who stays calm under pressure and makes smart decisions quickly Sous Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead by example, creating a positive, inclusive kitchen environment where your team feels supported and celebrated Develop and mentor culinarians at all levels, fostering continuous growth Ensure every dish is prepared to exceptional standards, equipping your team with the necessary skills Maintain impeccable food safety, sanitation, and kitchen health standards Support all aspects of kitchen financial performance, including COGS, labor costs, waste reduction, and stock control Partner with the Head Chef to recruit, train, and build a strong, cohesive team rooted in culture and accountability If you're a passionate culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with a brand that celebrates personality and purpose, this is the place for you.
