Duties Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with meticulous attention to detail and presentation Develop and refine menu items, incorporating fresh ingredients and innovative techniques Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards Manage ingredient inventory, monitor freshness, and order supplies as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and maintain efficient workflow Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health codes Serve dishes with professionalism, providing excellent food service to guests in a fine dining setting Qualifications Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to sushi-making Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of raw seafood and ingredients Experience in menu planning, catering, or restaurant service preferred Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding nutritional considerations Excellent cooking skills combined with a passion for culinary arts and innovation Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Join us to craft exceptional sushi experiences that captivate our guests!
