Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and motivated Entry Level Chef to join our team! This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals eager to kick-start their culinary career, develop essential kitchen skills, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic food service environment. As an Entry Level Chef, you will assist with food preparation, support kitchen operations, and learn the fundamentals of restaurant and catering food production. This role offers a fantastic platform to grow your culinary expertise. Duties Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety protocols. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and assisting with stock replenishment. Contribute to menu planning and food presentation to enhance guest experience in both restaurant and catering settings. Participate in shift management tasks such as setting up workstations, cleaning stations, and ensuring smooth service flow. Assist with banquet and catering events by preparing dishes according to specifications and managing timely service. Support team members in maintaining a positive, efficient, and safe kitchen environment focused on teamwork and hospitality. Qualifications Prior experience or training in food production, culinary arts, or hospitality is preferred but not required—enthusiasm for learning is essential! Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation. Familiarity with food service management concepts such as inventory control, menu planning, and shift management. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to supervise or lead small groups when needed. Experience in banquet service, fine dining environments, or restaurant settings is a plus. Demonstrated interest in the food industry with a desire to develop culinary skills through hands-on experience. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
