Job Overview We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the head chef in managing daily kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring our standards of quality and safety are met. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with a strong background in fine dining, food production, and team management, ready to help elevate our restaurant's culinary offerings. Responsibilities Assist in supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Manage inventory control and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Support menu planning and development, incorporating dietary considerations and catering needs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen activities. Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules and maintaining smooth kitchen operations during busy hours. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless food service experiences for guests. Skills Extensive culinary experience, including fine dining and catering environments. Proven supervising experience with strong leadership qualities. Knowledge of banquet operations, dietary requirements, and inventory management. Skilled in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively. Strong understanding of menu planning, food handling, and restaurant operations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining attention to detail. $54,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
