Job Description

Executive Chef As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant in Atlanta. You will work closely with the management team to create and implement menu concepts, train and supervise kitchen staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your creativity, leadership skills, and ability to think outside the box will be crucial in developing unique dishes that will delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and create new menu items based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies and control costs to meet budgetary goals
  • Collaborate with management team to plan special events or promotions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly kitchen environment at all times
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion sizes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of food quality
  • Food safety certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus
Salary:
$1800 per month
