Dessert Box is launching a modern dessert brand specializing in luxury dessert boxes, brownies, cookies, and seasonal baked goods. We are seeking a talented and motivated Pastry Lead, Pastry Chef or Bakery Assistant to help with production, recipe execution, and product development. As the brand expands and prepares to open new locations, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing startup bakery concept focused on high-quality desserts, gifting, and visually appealing products.

Responsibilities:

Assist with pastry and dessert production. Prepare brownies, cookies, baked goods, and seasonal dessert items. Execute recipes accurately and consistently. Support product development and testing of new menu items. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards. Assist with packaging and presentation of dessert products. Work collaboratively with kitchen leadership and team members.

Qualifications:

Required:

Prior bakery, pastry, or kitchen experience preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and consistency. Reliability and strong work ethic. Ability to follow recipes and work as part of a team.

Preferred:

Experience with pastry, baking, or dessert preparation. Experience in commercial kitchen or bakery production. Creative interest in modern desserts and presentation. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday production schedules.
