Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Banquet & Catering Chef to lead food execution for weddings, private events, and large-scale catering operations. This role requires someone who can consistently deliver high-quality food at volume, manage prep and service logistics, and thrive in a fast-paced event environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute menus for weddings and events ranging from 25-250+ guests Maintain consistency, presentation, and timing across all dishes Oversee prep, cooking, and plating for both buffet and plated service Ensure all food meets quality standards Assist with menu prep planning and production schedules Assist with ordering, inventory, and food cost awareness Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards Handle high-pressure service environments with professionalism Problem-solve quickly and effectively during live events
What We're Looking For:
Experience in catering, banquets, or high-volume kitchens (preferred, not required) Ability to manage timing for large guest counts (150-200+ is a plus) Leadership skills and ability to direct a small team Flexible, reliable, and able to work long event days Passion for quality food and attention to detail Reliable transportation and ability to be on time
Schedule Expectations:
Full-time position Includes a combination of prep days and event days each week Must be available for evenings and weekends (weddings & events)
