Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Sous Chef to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will support the management of food service operations, ensuring seamless coordination across various departments. Duties Assist in supervising daily food service activities, including banquet, catering, and restaurant operations Support the culinary team with food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and safety Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness Oversee dietary department functions, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and special requests Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all food service areas Qualifications Proven experience in banquet service, fine dining, or restaurant management with a strong background in food industry practices Supervising experience in a hospitality or culinary setting is essential Knowledge of dietary requirements and dietary department operations Hands-on experience with food production, catering, and kitchen management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively Familiarity with inventory management, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures Strong communication skills
