Background in Italian cuisine preferred. Farm to table and pasta experience necessary. Compensation based on experience and opportunity for advancement. Looking for people who have a "can do" attitude. Minimum two years sous chef experience. Please be ready to provide references upon request. We are a Chef driven restaurant group with emphasis on traditional Italian food. We have existing close ties with local farmers and are using high end products. Lots of room for learning and advancement. Looking for dedicated team members who strive to get better each day and hold each other accountable. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Constant communication with Executive Chef on daily tasks needed. Understanding how to use Excel spreadsheets, POS systems, ordering through vendors. Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced. Supervise kitchen staff to maintain a productive and efficient work environment. Implement food service management strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. Utilize cooking skills to create innovative and appealing menu items. Coordinate catering events and ensure seamless execution.
