  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food production and kitchen management, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities while assisting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. It is the intention, that this position be groomed into a Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Participate in banquet preparations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals for events. Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Assist with bartending duties as needed during events or busy service periods. Experience Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food service operations, including culinary techniques and kitchen management practices. Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of culinary professionals. Familiarity with inventory control processes and best practices for maintaining stock levels. Background in banquet service is highly desirable, along with experience in menu development.
