Nourish Food Service is a GMSDC/NMSDC-certified minority-owned food service management company feeding K-12 schools, senior centers, and communities across Georgia. Our 157 Commissary in Atlanta is the heartbeat of that mission — the central kitchen where thousands of safe, fresh, high-quality meals are produced, packaged, and sent out the door every day. We're looking for a Culinary Director to own that operation end to end: production, food safety, and delivery for the Nourish Community Delivery Group. If you love high-volume culinary leadership, run a tight and safe kitchen, and take pride in getting every meal where it needs to be — on time and at temperature — this role is for you. What You'll Do Lead daily food production — recipes, batch cooking, prep schedules, and portioning — across all accounts (K-12 NSLP, Senior CACFP, catering) Own our HACCP and food-safety program as Person in Charge; enforce FDA Food Code, Georgia health regulations, sanitation, and allergen control Manage packaging, labeling, and cold-chain integrity, including bulk hotel-pan meal sets for our delivery accounts Coordinate delivery schedules and routes so meals arrive on time and ready to serve Recruit, train, schedule, and develop your production, packaging, and delivery team Control food cost, inventory, and procurement across our approved vendor network Partner with our Corporate Executive Chef, Chief Dietitian, and Standards & Safety Director to uphold the Nourish Service Standard What You Bring 7+ years of progressive culinary leadership, including high-volume production, commissary, central-kitchen, or multi-site catering experience Prior Executive Chef or Commissary/Production Manager experience strongly preferred Current ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (HACCP certification required or obtained within 90 days) Proven success owning food safety and passing health and third-party inspections Strong skills in cost control, inventory, scheduling, and delivery logistics K-12 (NSLP) or senior-nutrition (CACFP) program experience is a big plus A valid driver's license (preferred, given delivery oversight) Why Nourish A senior leadership seat at a fast-growing, mission-driven company Real ownership of a central operation, not a single station The chance to shape how an entire community eats Nourish Food Service LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
