You will be responsible for preparing a variety of sushi types, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and contributing to a lively, energetic kitchen atmosphere. Duties Prepare and assemble a wide range of sushi dishes with precision, artistry, and consistency Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in the sushi station Develop innovative sushi recipes and presentation styles to enhance menu offerings Manage ingredient inventory, ensure freshness, and minimize waste through proper storage techniques Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours Educate team members on sushi techniques and cultural traditions to foster a knowledgeable environment Uphold all health regulations and safety procedures while working efficiently in a dynamic setting Qualifications Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling Ability to develop new recipes and adapt traditional dishes creatively Excellent classroom management skills for training junior staff or apprentices if needed Experience working with diverse teams in fast-paced kitchens or culinary environments Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices applicable to sushi preparation Passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail, presentation, and quality assurance Join us if you're eager to craft exceptional sushi that excites taste buds!
