As a key member of our culinary team, you will oversee the preparation and cooking of smoked meats, ensuring every dish meets our high standards for flavor, presentation, and quality. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere that celebrates authentic smoked cuisine. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mastery of pit-smoking techniques while managing daily operations with confidence and professionalism. Duties Lead the preparation, smoking, and presentation of a variety of meats using traditional techniques and modern equipment Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement in culinary skills Manage inventory levels for meat supplies, wood, spices, and other ingredients to ensure smooth operations Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all food preparation areas in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with management to develop menu items that highlight smoked flavors and meet customer preferences Oversee cash handling procedures at the point of sale and ensure accurate transaction processing Provide excellent guest service by engaging with customers, explaining menu offerings, and ensuring satisfaction Qualifications Proven management experience in a culinary or restaurant setting, preferably with supervising responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Experience working in a casino or similar entertainment venue is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to handle conflicts professionally and resolve guest concerns promptly Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management Knowledge of smokehouse techniques, meat preparation, and food safety standards is highly desirable
