Qualifications:

4+ years experience as a Sushi Chef specializing in Omakase in a high-end restaurant setting. 3+ years experience leading a back of house team in a fine dining restaurant Expertise in the art of sushi rice preparation, fish selection and breakdown, and knife skills. Exceptional palate and ability to create unique flavor combinations that highlight the essence of each ingredient.

Responsibilities:

As the Head Sushi Chef, work to craft personalized omakase experiences for guests, in addition to a la carte service, showcasing the freshest and highest quality ingredients available. Demonstrate expert knowledge of traditional sushi techniques and seasonal flavor profiles. Interact directly with guests, explaining each dish and creating a memorable dining experience. Lead, coach, and direct a team that seeks to use the finest ingredients from local and international markets. Order and breakdown a variety of fish and goods in preparation for service
