Job Description

$1000 Retention Bonus paid to all new hires at the end of December and May! Must be in good standing and employed with us for at least 90 days to qualify. ChefAdvantage is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef for a day school in Statesboro, GA. Do you love being creative with a variety of foods and cooking techniques? Are you fun, outgoing and a people person? Do you enjoy working with children and serving? Are you tired of working long hours and all holidays? If you answered yes to these questions, ChefAdvantage may be the place for you! With the amazing working hours of Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM, you get to do what you love and have a balance and quality of life as well!
Job responsibilities include:
produce high-quality meals that kids love to eat assist in managing and training the kitchen staff demonstrate exemplary customer service skills implement and maintain HACCP standards develop client and customer relationships deliver fabulous catering results communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively create a positive team environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of professional food service experience Awesome team development skills High energy and stamina Knowledge of current food trends Community/ service minded Strong work ethic and integrity Culinary degree preferred but not required Join a growing team of dedicated chefs and culinary talent who appreciate the importance of preparing and serving a great meal! Pre-employment background and drug screen required.
