Executive Chef - Waikiki Yacht Club 80k-90k+ Salary commensurate with experience

Full-Time, Exempt Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage About Waikiki Yacht Club Waikiki Yacht Club (WYC) is a distinguished private club located in the heart of Honolulu's harbor, offering panoramic views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. With a proud tradition of boating, social camaraderie, and community spirit, WYC delivers exceptional hospitality and a strong sense of ʻohana to its members and guests. Opportunity Summary The Executive Chef is expected to be a working chef and not solely an administrative chef, and will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, including menu development, kitchen leadership, banquet execution, and food quality control. Key Responsibilities Lead kitchen operations for daily dining and special events Design seasonal menus reflecting member preferences and local flavors Controls food costs, ordering, and inventories Hire, mentor, train, and manage back-of-house staff with a focus on professionalism and teamwork Ensure compliance with Hawaii Board of Health food safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and club service standards Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director and Events Team to execute high-quality member events Meet all communication deadlines for Banquets, Weekly Specials, and Special Events Consistently Lead, motivate, train, and inspire the entire Culinary Staff to ensure a professional and healthy working environment Qualifications 3-5 years of culinary leadership experience, ideally as an Executive Chef in a private club or upscale hotel setting Strong culinary skills with attention to flavor, presentation, and consistency Excellent time management, communication, and organizational abilities Familiarity with Hawaiʻi's local ingredients and culinary traditions preferred To Apply Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and résumé to:
