Job Description

Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. Your Mission:

What You'll Own:
The Plate-to-Patient Experience:
Oversee every step—from prep to delivery—ensuring every meal, whether in a dining room or on a clinical unit, is served with dignity, exceptionalism, and restaurant-style quality. You are responsible for food that is not just nutritious, but genuinely happy .
Administrative Command:
Leverage your advanced sous chef experience to manage kitchen production but also take on significant administrative oversight. This includes advanced inventory control, budget monitoring, compliance reporting, and creating the staff schedule. The 95%
Satisfaction Goal:
Proactively engage with residents and their families. Gather feedback, adjust menus, and solve problems in real-time to consistently maintain our gold-standard goal of 95.0% or higher satisfaction scores.
Safety and Training:
Lead all equipment training for safe usage and maintenance, ensuring the kitchen is always compliant with the highest HACCP and sanitation standards. III. Why This Role is

Skills you bring:
