Line Chef - PASTRY

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing and plating desserts to order in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and plate desserts to order according to recipe guidelines Ensure that all food items are prepared and cooked to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food preparation Monitor food inventory levels and communicate with the Pastry Chef regarding supply needs Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service Assist with training new kitchen staff members as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Line Cook , Pastry Cook, or similar role Knowledge of pastry techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety and sanitation standards Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds High school diploma or equivalent If you are passionate about pastries and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
