This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, oversee food production, and manage all aspects of kitchen operations within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Catering Chef will be responsible for menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food presentation that delights our clients. Responsibilities Develop innovative menus tailored to client specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Oversee all food preparation, cooking, and plating processes to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand their needs and deliver customized catering solutions Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operation during busy periods while maintaining exceptional service quality Experience Proven banquet experience with a strong background in large-scale food production for events or hospitality venues Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or catering environment with team management responsibilities Extensive culinary experience with fine dining expertise and familiarity with diverse cuisines Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to create menus accommodating various dietary restrictions Strong background in inventory management, food handling, and food service management within the food industry Experience in restaurant or catering management roles with demonstrated leadership skills in kitchen operations Familiarity with food safety protocols, kitchen management software, and inventory control systems Join us as a Catering Chef and bring your culinary passion to life by creating memorable dining experiences!
