Full-Time | Staff Housing Available | 3.5-Day On-Site Rotation Cook. Learn. Lead. SouthFork Lodge is not just a restaurant—it's a destination. Located along the South Fork of the Payette River in the heart of the Boise National Forest, our historic lodge dates back to 1937 and is entering an exciting new chapter. Under new ownership, we are building a hospitality experience centered around great food, outdoor adventure, and authentic Idaho mountain culture. We're looking for an ambitious Sous Chef who wants more than just another kitchen job. This is an opportunity to work directly alongside an Executive Chef with more than 40 years of culinary experience, learning the craft, refining your skills, and helping shape the future of a growing culinary program. What You'll Do Work directly with our Executive Chef on daily menu execution Assist with prep, service, specials, and seasonal menu development Learn advanced culinary techniques and kitchen leadership skills Help maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards Support inventory, organization, and kitchen operations Contribute ideas and creativity in a collaborative environment Help create memorable dining experiences for lodge guests What We're Looking For You don't need to know everything.
