Nic & Junior s is one of Eater s Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings for 2025. The restaurant brings together two chefs (James Beard Award nominee Junior Borges and restaurateur Nicholas Yanes) from different backgrounds with one vision to create meaningful connections through focused hospitality and thoughtful service.

Rooted in Brazilian and Italian traditions, the menu blends global influences with playful creativity, served with care and attention to detail. The Sous Chef's responsibilities include:

Reporting directly to the Executive ChefFostering a culture that proactively engages staff and creates a professional and dynamic learning environmentWorking with the team to lead and develop new dishesUpholding our expectation of cleanliness and productivityWe are looking for someone with the following qualities:

Strong work ethic and leadership skillsSelf-motivating and able to motivate othersStrong communication skillsDetail orientedWell organizedHas a strong understanding of New American cuisine and classical cooking techniquesIs excited to advance their career1-2 years experience in a fine dining kitchen preferred
