Sushi Chef Kai Sushi - 4.0 Chicago, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Sushi Food preparation Knife skills Restaurant experience Full Job Description Kai Sushi is seeking sushi chefs for full-time and part-time positions at their Lakeview, River North, and South Loop locations. There are 8 and 10-hour shifts available starting between 12p-3p. Chef will be responsible for managing the sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish and preparing all types of sushi, including maki and nigiri.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of work experience as a Sushi Chef, preferably in a high volume Japanese restaurant
- Good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
- Ability to work both fast and accurately, and take direction from head chef.
