Executive Chef Effingham, IL $68,000-$74,000 per year + $1500 Sign-on Bonus Relocation assistance An established fast-casual restaurant in the Effingham area is seeking a talented Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations, develop team members, and uphold exceptional standards of food quality and consistency. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about food quality, team development, operational excellence, and creating exceptional guest experiences. The Executive Chef will play a key role in maintaining high culinary standards while managing staff, inventory, food costs, and daily kitchen operations. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and food production Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards Manage inventory, purchasing, and food cost controls Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards Assist with menu development and seasonal offerings Coordinate staffing and scheduling Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture Qualifications Minimum 5 years of culinary leadership experience Experience managing teams in a high-volume restaurant environment Strong understanding of food cost management and inventory control Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Commitment to quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction Compensation & Benefits $68,000-$74,000 annual salary Health insurance benefits Paid vacation Employee meal program Performance-based bonus opportunities Signing bonus available after 90 days To apply, please send your resume to social@rgbmediastl.com.
