Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, tarts, and confections with attention to detail and presentation. Package finished products efficiently for retail display or catering orders, maintaining quality during transportation. Assist in food production tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling desserts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, including proper knife skills and equipment sanitation. Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing menu items for consistency and innovation. Qualifications Proven pastry experience with a strong background in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation. Demonstrated culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting. Excellent knife skills and knowledge of baking techniques essential for high-quality pastry creation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Experience in catering or large-scale food production is a plus.
