Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Plan, develop, and execute menus that reflect high culinary standards, creativity, and current food trends, including fine dining options. Oversee food production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation meet brand standards. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe kitchen environment. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and flawless execution of all dishes. Supervise shift operations, including scheduling staff, managing workflow, and resolving any operational issues promptly. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs while maintaining menu integrity. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area in compliance with health codes. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments. Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations across the food industry. Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and food service management. Experience with inventory management, control procedures, and cost optimization strategies. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Skilled in kitchen management including shift management, food handling, and restaurant experience. Familiarity with banquet experience, dietary requirements, and hospitality standards.
