Job Description

Banquet Hands-On Executive Chef - Full Time We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Banquet Chef to join our busy banquet and catering operation in the Chicagoland area. This position is ideal for a chef who thrives in high-volume events, takes pride in food quality and presentation, and can lead a kitchen team during weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and special occasions. Position Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute banquet menus for weddings, corporate events, and special events
  • Work hands-on in the kitchen during prep and service
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate event execution
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety compliance
  • Monitor inventory, prep levels, and kitchen organization
  • Assist with menu planning and event preparation
  • Handle high-volume production while maintaining attention to detail Qualifications
  • Previous banquet or high-volume catering experience required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
