Job Overview Chef de Cuisine (Head Chef): Manages the daily operations of a specific kitchen. They execute the Executive Chef's vision and direct the kitchen staff during service. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to assist the executive chef and lead our culinary team while elevating our dining experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu planning and food preparation to staff supervision and food safety compliance. Duties Manages the daily operations of Siegfrieds Supper Club. Execute the Executive Chef's vision and direct the kitchen staff during service. Develop innovative menus that showcase culinary creativity while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient workflow Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment Oversee food production, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to recipes and dietary guidelines Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and maintaining accurate stock levels Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable cleanliness standards in the kitchen Coordinate catering events and banquet services, delivering exceptional culinary experiences for large groups Monitor food handling procedures, ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed at all times Collaborate with exec chef and management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and special promotions Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong banquet and catering background Supervising experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced settings Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and kitchen management best practices Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members Strong background in food safety standards and dietary department operations Experience managing inventory control, food service management, and catering logistics Skilled in menu planning, food handling, cooking techniques, and restaurant operations Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including serving protocols and shift management Culinary certification or relevant training preferred; experience in the food industry essential Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments effectively Join us as our Head Chef to craft exceptional culinary experiences that delight our guests!
