We are seeking a Culinary Leader, with a passion for Food, Service and AMAZING Presentations. Our Executive Chef must have a mentoring management style creating a culture of fun, creativity and growth. If you have the Culinary Chops and passion for current, trending and diverse menus, and are ready to hit the ground running in a fast paced, multi-outlet setting, we would like to hear from you! Must have Executive and/or Sous Chef experience in preferably a multi-outlet dining services setting. Catering experience a strong plus! Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our hospital dining culinary team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and menu planning to ensure nutritious, high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong background in food service management, culinary arts, and dietary requirements within a healthcare setting. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where healthy, delicious meals are served efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of daily menus, incorporating dietary guidelines and patient needs while maintaining culinary excellence. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, food handlers, and catering teams, fostering teamwork and professional growth. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met across all meal services. Manage inventory control and procurement to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and stay within budget parameters. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a safe environment for staff and patients alike. Coordinate catering for hospital events, meetings, and special occasions with attention to detail and timely service. Implement training programs on food handling, safety procedures, and new culinary techniques to enhance team skills. Skills Extensive experience in food service management within healthcare or similar settings; banquet experience is a plus. Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Strong background in dietary department operations, including menu planning for special diets. Proficiency in food production, kitchen management, inventory control, and food safety practices. Excellent leadership skills combined with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Knowledge of fine dining standards alongside catering and restaurant management experience. Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations across various cuisines; bartending experience is advantageous.
