Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef or Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from food preparation and menu planning to staff supervision and food safety compliance. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of exceptional cuisine that delights our guests and maintains the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service. Responsibilities Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment focused on excellence in food production and service Oversee daily kitchen operations, including shift management, inventory control, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards Develop innovative menus that align with culinary trends, dietary requirements, and guest preferences while maintaining cost efficiency Manage all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes Coordinate catering events, banquets, and fine dining services with precision and professionalism Monitor inventory levels regularly, place orders as needed, and control food costs through effective inventory management strategies Ensure compliance with health regulations and promote a culture of food safety throughout the kitchen Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and banquet service Proven supervising experience with demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced kitchen environment Knowledge of dietary department standards and experience managing specialized dietary needs Skilled in food production, menu planning, and food handling techniques Strong team management abilities with excellent communication skills Experience in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen operations management Familiarity with food safety protocols and regulations within the food industry Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service Experience in restaurant management or hospitality settings is highly desirable Competence in shift management, food service management, and catering logistics Join us as we craft memorable culinary experiences! $58,308.33 - $70,220.78 per year
