This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic kitchen environment, loves creating delicious dishes, and enjoys managing food operations from start to finish. As a Chef, you'll be responsible for overseeing food preparation, keeping inventory and helping with ordering produce, overseeing catering orders, maintaining high standards of food safety, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service. If you have a flair for elevating traditional dishes, catering, and kitchen management, this is your chance to shine in a vibrant hospitality setting. We are also a year into making pizzas, and the pizza station is a big part of our daily operation! Pizza making knowledge isn't required, but willing to learn is! Duties Lead the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food production, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Manage inventory control and food procurement to minimize waste while maintaining stock levels for all culinary needs. Oversee catering operations, working with catering director to come up with menus. Develop and plan menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements while showcasing culinary creativity. Enforce strict food safety standards and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Skills Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of dietary department standards and food safety regulations across various settings. Skilled in food production, menu planning, and food service management. Experience with inventory management, control systems, and kitchen logistics. Excellent cooking skills combined with expertise in food handling, presentation, and hospitality service. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
