Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and management, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards for taste and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage inventory, and ensure food safety protocols are followed. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared in a timely manner. Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen. Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices. Develop new menu items and specials that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food management principles, including food production and preparation techniques. Familiarity with inventory control processes and best practices. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other departments. Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
