The Mills Tavern & Grille is seeking a creative and passionate full-time chef to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Portuguese/European cuisine or be willing to apply their skills to learn and will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals. Responsibilities Oversee food preparation Ensure all dishes are cooked to order Evaluate cooked food before serving for quality flavors and appearance by taste and smell. Track and monitor kitchen inventory Assist with food and supplies orders Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation Complete closing requirements as directed by manager Skills 2-5 years experience as a Chef/Cook Willingness to learn authentic Portuguese cuisine Leadership skills Ability to prepare good food consistently in a fast-moving environment Knowledge of Massachusetts health, safety and sanitary regulations
