Job Description

Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager Opportunity Essex County, MA | Full-Time We are an established elevated dining restaurant known for quality food, a welcoming atmosphere, and premier cocktails, and we are seeking an enthusiastic, self-starting, highly motivated culinary leader to join our team. Our kitchen focuses on a high-quality, locally sourced, creative comfort-based menu, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about food, leadership, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Ideal Candidate Qualifications Minimum 5 years of culinary leadership experience required 5+ years of catering experience strongly preferred Proven experience in menu development and recipe creation Strong understanding of current food and restaurant industry trends Ability to train, direct, and supervise kitchen staff effectively Exceptional leadership skills, including staff motivation and goal setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities Experience with food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations Bilingual English - Spanish strongly preferred Key Responsibilities Develop seasonal and creative menu offerings Create and refine unique recipes aligned with our brand Train, lead, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence Monitor food and supply inventory to meet cost and profitability goals Assist with monthly inventory counts Maintain organized storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers Order and receive food products, beverages, and kitchen supplies Ensure daily kitchen operations are running smoothly, including: Proper staffing levels Cleanliness and sanitation Appropriate inventory levels Functional equipment Support both restaurant service and catering operations Perform additional duties as needed to support overall business success Schedule Requirements This is a full-time position.
