Job Description

Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to lead and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for candidates who thrive in collaborative kitchens, enjoy mentoring staff, and excel at maintaining consistent food quality and operational excellence. You'll work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth daily operations, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and deliver an exceptional dining experience. Sous Chef Responsibilities Lead and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight Supervise food prep, takeout, and plating operations, ensuring recipes and portions are consistent Hire, evaluate, train, and discipline kitchen team members as needed Order food supplies, small kitchen equipment, and maintain inventory control Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and storage regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and prep areas Communicate daily with Executive Chef, kitchen managers, and FOH team to ensure smooth operations Support Executive Chef in daily tasks, including prep, production, and operational problem-solving Sous Chef Requirements Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Chef Hands-on culinary skills and knowledge of diverse cooking techniques Experience planning menus, ordering ingredients, and executing recipes Strong knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety regulations Excellent organizational, conflict management, and team leadership skills Ability to manage teams in fast-paced, multi-language environments Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and high-volume service periods Valid ServSafe Management Certification and ability to obtain any required local licenses
Sous Chef Benefits:
