Job Summary We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be a key player in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that delight our guests. You'll oversee food preparation, supervise kitchen staff, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and presentation. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to lead by example in a bustling, fine dining environment. Duties Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, freshness, and presentation of all dishes. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area. Coordinate catering and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery and impeccable presentation. Lead training sessions for team members on food handling, preparation techniques, and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining kitchens with strong culinary skills and leadership abilities. Extensive background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management. Experience supervising teams within a busy restaurant or catering environment. Knowledge of dietary restrictions, food safety standards, and inventory management practices. Familiarity with banquet service, catering operations, and hospitality industry standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
