Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lunch Chef to join our culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious, nutritious midday meals that delight our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of lunch dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency Plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences, ensuring balanced nutrition and appealing presentation Handle food safely by following strict hygiene standards and proper food handling procedures Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for service Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy lunch hours Support catering or special event meal preparations as needed, ensuring quality and efficiency Experience Proven dietary department or dietary aide experience in a professional kitchen setting Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling protocols Fine dining or restaurant experience highly desirable for elevated presentation skills Skilled in knife techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen organization Familiarity with catering services and serving in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of the food industry standards related to culinary safety and quality assurance
Pay:
$24.19 - $29.14 per hour
