Responsibilities Assist in supervising all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Lead and motivate kitchen staff by providing clear direction, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory control and food ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste. Oversee food safety compliance by enforcing sanitation standards, proper handling procedures, and adherence to health regulations. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and flawless execution of all culinary offerings. Participate in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with guest preferences. Manage shift operations efficiently by scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and addressing any issues promptly to ensure smooth service flow. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume restaurant or fine dining establishment. Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and kitchen management with a focus on quality control. Demonstrated expertise in banquet service, catering, and event coordination. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and inventory management practices. Experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments with excellent leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with restaurant management systems, menu planning tools, and inventory control software is preferred. Prior involvement in the food industry with a solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
