Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Hall Chef to lead our culinary operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. This role requires creativity, leadership, and strong execution across a variety of cuisines.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality menus for banquet events of all sizes Showcase strong knowledge and skill in diverse cuisines and cooking techniques Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency Maintain strict standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation Manage inventory, food costs, and ordering to stay within budget Collaborate with clients and event coordinators to customize menus Ensure timely execution during high-volume events
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of professional culinary experience (banquet or high-volume experience preferred) Strong background in a variety of cuisines and cooking styles Proven leadership and team management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting salary of $75,000 annually Performance-based bonuses and commission opportunities Growth opportunities within a growing operation
