Immediate Summer Employment Opportunity-- Campus Chef/Staff Cook May 26 through October 16 Located on the shores of Little Traverse Bay in Harbor Springs, Michigan, Little Harbor Club is a seasonal private club situated in one of the most beautiful settings in America. Our family-oriented club serves lunch and dinner seven days a week. Members enjoy tennis, swimming, private parties, and a variety of special events during our extremely busy season. Since our opening in 1930, the Little Harbor Club has been recognized for providing outstanding food, facilities, and personal service to our members and their guests. LHC is looking for a motivated, energetic professional to fill the following position: Campus Chef/Staff Cook Job Summary Little Harbor Club provides wholesome, balanced meals to all staff members. The Campus Chef will provide daily lunch and dinner for staff during the season, and lunch only pre- and post-season. The Campus Chef will oversee and maintain the campus kitchen at Beachview, an employee housing facility. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare all food items for daily breakfast/lunch and dinner service for LHC staff. ( Approximately 60 staff per meal during season/30 staff for lunch pre & post season) Work with Executive Chef to identify available products and requisition needed items from main kitchens. Set up, break-down, clean, sanitize, and maintain Beachview kitchen and dining areas Assist with other duties as requested by the Executive Chef. Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards. Encourage and build mutual trust, and respect among all team members. Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in cooperation with a variety of people efficiently and effectively. Reports to the Executive Chef.
