Pastry Manager Sprinkles Donut Shop is seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Manager to lead our pastry team and oversee the creation of high-quality pastries and baked goods. In this hands-on leadership role, you will ensure exceptional product quality, manage daily production, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and consistency. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily pastry production, including pastries, cookies, and muffins, ensuring freshness, quality, and consistency. Develop and execute creative pastry items, recipes, and seasonal offerings while maintaining cost controls. Manage and schedule pastry kitchen staff. Maintain accurate inventory of ingredients and supplies; order as needed to minimize waste and ensure profitability. Enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and quality standards in compliance with health department regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams for goods integration. Handle customer special orders, resolve complaints professionally, and provide outstanding service. Perform opening/closing procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Requirements & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in pastry or bakery management (or equivalent hands-on baking experience in a high-volume setting). Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, recipe development, scaling, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing. Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to work early mornings and weekends, as needed. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures (hot ovens and coolers). Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (or similar), scheduling and inventory tracking is a plus. Culinary degree or formal training in Baking & Pastry Arts is preferred but not required.
