Duties Prepare high-quality food items with precision, creativity, and attention to detail, ensuring consistency across all dishes. Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings fresh, innovative, and aligned with culinary standards. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations. Manage food production processes, including inventory control, food handling, and ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Oversee catering events and banquet services, coordinating with the team to deliver exceptional service and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times. Support kitchen management in shift scheduling, inventory management, and cost control initiatives to optimize efficiency. Experience Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within fine dining or upscale hospitality settings. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience with the ability to lead by example. Extensive background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management practices. Experience with banquet service, catering operations, and dietary department procedures is highly desirable. Knowledge of inventory management systems, food safety protocols (including HACCP), and food handling best practices. Strong understanding of restaurant operations including menu planning, shift management, and food service management.
