WEEKENDS ARE MANDATORY
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership will inspire our culinary staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, manage kitchen workflows, and contribute to the creation of memorable dishes that delight our guests. Duties Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence and efficiency. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and inventory management to optimize food costs and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes. Manage shift schedules and oversee kitchen workflow during service hours to maintain smooth operations. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, dietary accommodations, and inventory control. Skilled in menu planning, food production techniques, and catering operations. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate team members. Experience with banquet service, food handling, and hospitality standards is highly desirable. Culinary certification or relevant training from recognized culinary institutions is preferred.
