Sous Chef:
While your day-to-day tasks are related to managing kitchen operations and the execution of our menu from prep to service to breakdown, these three responsibilities are always at the core of this position:

creating & contributing to new dishes, teaching & learning skills, inviting development for yourself and others Leading a thriving, high-performing team: sharing knowledge and power so that everyone can contribute, stay engaged, and have a voice that is actually heard Upholding quality standards & cleanliness: aligning the team on the why and how we do things, and embracing all opportunities to evolve and elevate our standards What you'll need to be successful in this position: You need to have some culinary chops to be one of our Head Chef, enough to be able to confidently oversee the prep and execution of the menu. This job is just as much about leading people as it is about food, so on top of culinary skill, you will thrive in this role if: You're not new to leadership, you've had enough experience as a leader to know there's always room for growth and you're dedicated to becoming a better one You've developed effective culinary and interpersonal skills, and you're more interested in sharing what you know while learning from others than being the expert with all of the answers You've got the courage and vulnerability to take risks and embrace failure as part of any creative process, you've also got the compassion to support others around you when they're doing the same What we have to offer you: We are a group of small, metropolitan & neighborhood restaurants in the twin cities When you join us, you become a part of a driven, collaborative force that inspires us every day to open people's eyes to what a restaurant experience should be.
