NorBella Prior Lake & NorBella Savage - Chef/Cook Lifespark paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) United States, Minnesota, Savage Jun 03, 2026 Description NorBella Prior Lake & NorBella Savage, Lifespark Senior Living Communities, are looking for a Chef/Cook to join our team! Shifts Available:
Full-Time & On-Call Wage:
$17.50-$22.50 per hour In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Duties Include:
Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures. Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils. Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy. Ensure proper storage for food and supplies. Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications:
Large volume cooking experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a senior living setting is preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees. Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Ability to divide or multiply recipes to meet the quantity needs for service.
