Job Description

Chef Position We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team as we continue expanding both our restaurant and private event operations. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional food, maintaining high standards, and creating memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate is a motivated culinary professional who can successfully balance creativity, kitchen leadership, operational efficiency, and financial awareness. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day kitchen operations and service execution Design and update menus with an emphasis on quality, seasonality, and profitability Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff Maintain high standards for food preparation, presentation, and consistency Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Manage inventory, purchasing, and kitchen cost controls Collaborate with management on catering, wine dinners, special events, and seasonal offerings Assist in developing efficient kitchen systems and workflows Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture Qualifications Previous experience as an Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or senior culinary leader Culinary degree preferred, though comparable experience will be considered Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities Understanding of food costing, labor management, and inventory practices Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail Ability to perform well in a fast-paced hospitality environment Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Position Information Full-time salaried position Bi-weekly pay schedule In-person role Day and evening shifts required Weekend availability required Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Join a team focused on hospitality, quality, and growth while helping shape an evolving culinary program that serves both restaurant guests and special event clientele.
